该设备生产效率高，包布缠绕转速可达300rpm，完成一个钢圈的包布缠绕周期不超过20 秒，最高产量每班次可完成2000 以上钢圈。一台自动包布机可以替代3-4 台普通螺旋包布机。人机工程、设计合理，取放钢圈方便快捷。人工取放圈的模式下，利用多种光电传感器进行检测，生产时无需进行按钮等人工确认，即可自动识别人体及钢圈的状态，自动启动钢圈缠绕过程。

6 轴伺服驱动，更换规格时直接调用触摸屏上的配方菜单。包布缠绕钢圈牢固紧密，螺距准确，包布缠绕螺距可在设备运行过程中通过触摸屏进行微调。

配备可靠的安全防护，设备周围设有严密护网，检修门配有连锁开关。操作面配有光幕，生产过程中如有操作人员肢体进入挡住光幕，设备立刻停机。确认后可继续完成该钢圈的包布缠绕。
